Gerald Wayne Dickson, 50 of Guntersville died Friday, January 1, 2016 in Marshall Medical Center North, E.R.
Mr. Dickson was born April 15, 1965 in Marshall County, the son of Gerald D. and Shelby Jean Davison Dickson. He was a dry wall finisher with a construction company. He had previously lived in the Joppa area and has for the past 4 months called the Georgia Mountain area of Guntersville his home. He was a member of the Brindlee Mountain Church of God in Morgan City. He loved Alabama football and fishing. He and the former Angel M. Smith were married March 20, 2015.
He is survived by his wife: Angel M. Dickson; two daughters: Kristina Dickson and Tamara Dickson; a step son: Thomas Kitchens; a step daughter and spouse: Samantha and Matthew Catley; nine grandchildren; his mother: Shelby Jean Dickson; a brother: Michael Dickson and a sister and brother-in-law: Leatha and Chris Woolbright; preceded in death by his father: Gerald D. Dickson.
The Family elected cremation; a memorial service will be held at a later time. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel assisted with cremation arrangements.
