Johnny M. Dyer, 77, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at Mississippi State Veteran’s Home in Oxford. He was born December 8, 1938 to the late Clemmie Dyer and the late Ruby Carroll Dyer. He was a printing pressman; retiring from BancorpSouth. He was a member of Asbury Methodist Church. He enjoyed gardening and fishing.

Services will be 2:00 pm on Sunday January 3, 2016 at Asbury Methodist Church. He will lie in repose from 1:00 until service time Sunday with Minister Don Simmons officiating. Burial will be in Asbury Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Saturday January 2, 2016 at Senter Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Janette Dyer of Tremont, Daughter, Lori (Craig) Anderson of Baton Rouge, LA, Son, Steven (Stephanie) Dyer of Pontotoc; Granddaughters: Morgan Anderson and Madison Dyer; Grandsons: Wesley Anderson and Ethan Dyer.

Preceded in death by his parents, twin brother, William “Bill” Dyer, Sisters: Joyce Holland, and Earstine “Teen” Burcham

Pallbearers are Wesley Anderson, Ethan Dyer, Jimmy Bryson, David Dotson, Danny Cody, and Lee Knight.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Craig Anderson and Larry Cantrell.
