Shelby Gene Ivy, 76, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born October 15, 1939 to the late George Wesley Ivy and the late Leona Guntharp Ivy in Tishomingo County. He was a resident of Itawamba County. He was married to the love of his life, Wilda Ann Senter Ivy for almost 56 years. Shelby was a deacon and member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Wilda Ivy, 3 Daughters, Pam Ivy (David) Leatherwood of Fulton, Sherry (Kirk) Robinson of Fulton, Misty Devall of Fulton, Grandchildren, Britni Leathers, Nikki (Patrick) Leathers, Chauncy (Kelsey) Leathers, Kaci Jean (Luke) Hargett, Hunter Devall, Shelby Devall, and the loves of his life, his great grandchildren, Maddie Grace Fleming, Paden Fleming, Olivia Fleming, Georgia Gibson, Rhlei Kait Leathers, and Khloe Leathers, 2 Brothers, Harold (Carolyn) Ivy of Fulton, Maynard (Pat) Ivy of Fulton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 9 siblings, and In Laws, Avis (Edith) Senter.
Pallbearers will be the Deacons at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
