Martha Evelyn Carr, age 75, of Athens, AL passed away December 30, 2015 at Athens Limestone Hospital. She was born June 6, 1940 in Limestone County.
Martha was preceded in death by her husband: James Allen Carr, two sons: Phillip Wayne Barnes and Michael Allen Carr, one daughter: Donna Kay Carr and grandchild: Burlen Barnes.
Services will be Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 2:00PM at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Ted Lunkster officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, January 2, 2016 from 12:00PM until 1:45PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sandlin Cemetery.
Martha is survived by her son: Randy Dale Carr (Kimberley) of Toney, AL, her daughter: Lisa Ann Carr of Athens, Alabama, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Martha was a member of Ark of Promise Apostolic Church.
