Mrs. Ruby Mae Revod Jaynes, 93, of Florence passed away on December 30, 2015 at El Reposo Nursing Facility.
She was a faithful member of Stony Point of Church of Christ, where she had attended since age7. She was known for her devoted love for the Lord. She loved her church family. She taught Sunday school, was a daily Bible reader, and loved sharing the Lord with others. She visited shut-ins with her friends until she was no longer able to do so. She was the epitome of the Virtuous Woman in Proverbs 31. She had a deep and unfailing love for her husband, her children, grandchildren, and each member of her family. She never went a day without visitsfrom several family members, which was a testament to her love and devotion to them. She loved and missed her husband, Buck every day, and longed for the day she would see himagain. She was known for her hospitality and her cooking. There was always room for one more at her table. Through the years, she and Buck helped anyone who needed a little extra, picked up those who needed a ride to church, and even took in orphans on several occasions. She loved music, especially Elvis. Throughout her life, even in her final days, she was moreconcerned for her family and their comfort than for herself. She loved dearly and was dearly loved.
