Mary Ruth Grigsby, 85, of Florence, passed away December 28, 2015 at Fort Walton Rehabilitation Center. She was a member of Eastwood Church of Christ.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 2, 2016 from 5 – 8 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Sunday, January 3, 2016 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Charles Kretzer officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Grigsby was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Eula May; brothers, Charles and James May; and sisters, Dorothy Howard and Fay Masterson.
She is survived by her son, Dennis Grigsby of Houston, TX; daughters, Shirley Martindale of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Vicki McGregor of Benton, KY; brother, Clyde Richard May of Florence; sisters, Levon Darby , Ann Oakley both of Florence, and Linda Mitchell of Summerville, SC; grandchildren, Jonathan and Justin McGregor both of Benton, KY, Scott Traglia of Ocala, FL, Abe Martindale of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Russ Grigsby of Dyersburg, TN, and Kaye Willger of Baraboo, WI; and great-grandchildren, Charley, Brooks, and Brody McGregor, Ariel Traglia, Isaiah and Amelia Martindale, Jacob, Kaleigh, and Kiaria Willger.
Pallbearers will include: Jonathan McGregor, Justin McGregor, Abe Martindale, Scott Traglia, Russ Grigsby, and Tim Masterson.
