Dale Wilbanks, 60, of Athens died Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at his residence. He was retired from GM, Decatur, AL.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 31st, 2015 from 11 – 1 at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow in the chapel with David O’Connell officiating. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Justin Wilbanks, Josh Stinnett, Jeffrey Wilbanks, Barry Wilbanks, David Wilbanks, Wade Stinnett and Johnny Wilbanks.
Mr. Wilbanks was preceded in death by his parents, Bob & Jo Ann Wilbanks. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Shelia Jackson Wilbanks of Athens; son, Shannon Wilbanks and fiance, Nikki Cummings of Athens; sister, Mary Jo (Wade) Stinnett of Athens; brother, Mark (Kathy) Wilbanks of Pontotoc, MS; nephews, Justin (Marley) Wilbanks, Josh (Shasta) Stinnett and Jeffrey (Kira) Wilbanks; aunts and uncles, Linda Bryan, Enid (Sam) Butler, Patsy Wilbanks, Johnny (Hazel) Wilbanks, Brenda (Pete) Munn and Rachel Wallace and a host of loving cousins.
Dale was a loving Husband and Daddy.
