Melva Joyce Doyle, age 77, of Florence, passed away Thursday, Dec. 24, 2015. Visitation will be today, Dec. 26 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother that will be missed not only by her family but her many friends, bowling buddies, and sewing customers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Cora Montgomery; daughter, Vickie Doyle Hanson; brothers, Arvil, Hershel, and Doyle Montgomery.
Survivors are her husband, Marvin Doyle; her sons, Gary Doyle (Pam) and Michael Doyle (Belinda); grandchildren, Kim Boyd (Scott), Jeremy Doyle (Anne), Danielle McCann (Will), Niki Doyle (Lee Conaway), and Justin Littrell (Emily); great-granchildren, Hayleigh, Lauryn, Dylan, and Kaitlyn, Ethan, and Charlee and numerous nieces and nephews.
