Graveside services for Ruth Rogers Joynes, age 95 of Springfield formerly of Fayetteville, will be conducted Saturday December 26, 2015 at Stateline Cemetery at 11:30 AM with Bro. James Strope officiating. Mrs. Joynes passed away December 21, 2015 Northcrest Care Center in Springfield, TN.
A native of Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Vera Phillips Rogers. Along with her husband Charles Lee Joynes, Mrs. Joynes owned and operated a thermometer business.
Survivors include her son Roger Joynes of Springfield, TN, four grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and sister Elizabeth Hunter of Lincoln County.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Lee Joynes who passed away in 2000.
Visitation with the family will be Saturday December 26, 2015 from 10-11 AM at Higgins Funeral Home.
