Born Oct. 17, 1944 in Louisville, Kentucky, the daughter of Mary Catherine Snawder and Leo P. Abbott, Carmen Lee Abbott Williams entered into eternal rest Monday Nov. 2, 2015.
Survived by her son, Noel Wayne Williams, Jr. (Dionne), of Mandeville, Louisiana; daughter, Mary Nicole Williams Barry (Christopher), of Decatur; two grandsons, Thomas Williams and Kahl Williams; brother, Stephen H. Nickerson (Debbie), of Griffin, Georgia; and many cousins and friends.
She was a member of the First Bible Church of Decatur. Visitation and memorial service today, Nov. 5, from 5-7 p.m. at the First Bible Church of Decatur.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Children’s Ministries at her church. Graveside services at a later date in Kentucky.
