Larry Ross James age 72 of Athens, passed away Monday, November 2, 2015. Mr. James was born February 17, 1943 in Wichita County, TX to Billy Ross James and Ida Mae Coen James.
Services will be Saturday, November 7, 2015 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. James was a retired Lt. Colonel of the United States Army.
Survived by his wife, Debra C. James; one daughter, Erin James Wright and husband, Brendan; three sons, Seth Adam James and wife, Jennifer, Jared Matthew James and wife, Mandy and Nathan Andrew James and wife, Ashley; grandchildren, Dylan Wright, Charlize Wright, Asher Wright, Benjamin James, Elijah James, Makenzie James, Kate James, and Chandler James; one sister, Patricia Wetherbee; one brother, Danny James; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Seth James, Jared James, Nathan James, Danny James, Josh Chandler and Brendan Wright. Honorary pallbearers will be Elijah and Ben James.
