Shirley Corene Woodke age 81 of Athens, passed away Monday, November 2, 2015 at NHC Health Facility in Pulaski, TN. Mrs. Woodke was born October 25, 1934 in Loco, OK to Sterling Bandy and Jewell Elliott Bandy.

Services will be Thursday, November 5, 2015 1:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church with Dr. Fred Lackey and Bro. Greg Mayo officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., in the Family Life Center prior to the service. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Limestone Chapel Funeral Home assisting the family.

Mrs. Woodke was a member of First Baptist Church, where she was former church secretary. She was financial secretary for the Baptist Association, and was also involved with the youth at First Baptist
.
Preceded in death by one brother, Willis Bandy; two sisters, Syble Bandy and Willie Mae Hightower.

Survived by her husband, Ron Woodke of Athens; four daughters, Kiela Christopher and husband, Skip, Kerri Gordon and husband, Tommy both of Athens Kaye Curtis and husband, Mike of Lewisburg, TN and Karole Stout of Lascassas, TN; nine grandchildren, Crysten Conner, Mari Beth Lirette, Sam Curtis, Peter Curtis, Emily Gordon, Jenna Miller, Justin Gordon, Callie Stout and Sterling Stout; four great-grandchildren, one sister, Beth Melton of Choctaw, Oklahoma.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Gordon, Skip Christopher, Sam Curtis, Peter Curtis, Jed Lirette and Sterling Stout.
