Ms. Yvonne Young Crutcher was born August 12, 1950, in Madison County to the late Reverend R.B. Young and Elsie Jean Brown. She departed this life Sunday, October 26, 2008, at her home in Huntsville, Alabama.
She accepted hope in Christ at an early age and later joined New Hope Outreach Ministry until her final rest.
She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, Shirley Bates (David) of Decatur, Alabama; one son, Tommy Crutcher, II, (Sandra) of Huntsville, Alabama; six grandchildren, Lateadra Crutcher, Dominique Crutcher, Ladaesha Smart, Reyna Crutcher, Tahja Crutcher, and Devon Crutcher; four brothers, Gregory Young of Huntsville, Alabama, Reginald Young (Freda) of Enterprise, Alabama, Derrick Hunter (Laura) and Travis Brown (Ferenda) all of Huntsville, Alabama; two aunts, Lather Curry and Lucy Leslie both of Huntsville, Alabama; one special friend, Thomas Briggs of Huntsville, Alabama; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 31, 2008 at the Royal Chapel of Memories with Pastor John Henderson & Reverend Kenneth Leslie officiating.
