Ammon Wayne Jones, age 64, of Athens, AL passed away Saturday, October 24, 2015 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, AL. He was born January 19, 1951 to Ben H. Jones and Lila Grace Newby.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ben and Lila Jones, one sister, Lounell Adams, and two brothers Morris Jones and Robert Jones.
Services will be Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at 11:00AM at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Brother Tim Murrah officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 27, 2015 from 9:45-10:45AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Ammon is survived by four sisters: Linda Eckstein, Jeanette Tyler, Mae Sterling and Faye Stanford. He is also survived by one brother: Freddie Jones, and several nieces and nephews.
He was a member of Jennings Chapel Church of Christ.
Pallbearers will be: Rusty Beddingfield, Johnny Bowden, Ben Sterling, Chad Stanford, Barry Jones and Robin Jones.
