Delma Doyce Brackeen, age 89, of Athens, passed away Thursday, October 15,2015 at Ardmore Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born to Benjamin Brackeen and Rossie Belle Brooks on February 23, 1926.
Services will be Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 2:00PM at Roselawn Cemetery with Everette Conn officiating. There will be no public visitation.
Delma is survived by his daughters: Janice Harris of Athens, AL and Peggy Scott of Fayetteville, TN, one grandson: Franklin Harris of Athens, AL and several nieces and nephews.
Delma was a member of Eastside Church of Christ for many years.
Pallbearers will be: Bill Murrell, Craig Calvert, Tim Richter, Gary Boyd, Jeff Brackeen and Denny Brackeen.
