Edward O. Noble, age 92, of Decatur, died Saturday, October 10, 2015. A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 13, 2015, in Burningtree Memorial Gardens with Rev. James Chitwood officiating. Military Honors will be presented by the U.S. Army. Ridout’s Brown Service Funeral Home will be directing.
Mr. Noble was born March 31, 1923, to Walter Boman Noble and Ida Lindsey Noble. He served in the U.S. Army as a Medic in World War II and was retired from Decatur Upholstery. He was a member of Central Baptist Church. Mr. Noble was preceded in death by his wife, Addie “Sue” Noble, and he was preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters.
Survivors include two daughters, Dana Robbins and husband, Don and Vickie Roberts and husband, Leonard; one sister, Ester Cottingham; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and his best friend, Odessa Hughes.
