Funeral service for Janet Marie Holmes Schnittker, 67, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, October 4th, 2015 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, Bro. Charles Dixon officiating with interment in Cullman Heritage Cemetery.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Janet passed away Friday, October 2nd, 2015 at St. Vincent’s Hospital. She was born February 25, 1948 to parents, Millard H. & Elizabeth Childers Holmes, Sr. Janet was a long time Christian. She loved caring for her family, and her grandchildren were her world.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include her mother; her husband of 49 years, Randy Schnittker; a son, Kenny (Beth) Schnittker; a daughter, Karen (Tim) Collins; a brother, Jimmy (Billie) Holmes; four granddaughters, Kayla (Houston Turner) Schnittker, Abigail Schnittker, Kaitlyn Collins, Kaci Collins; two grandsons, Taylor Collins and Billy Collins; one great grandson, Rowan Collins; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday evening at Cullman Funeral Home from 5:30 – 9 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Deigo Vega, Mark Wilson, Billy Collins, Houston Turner, Jeff Denson, Chris Nichols.
