Rena Mae Foote, age 68, of Decatur died Friday, September 25, 2015. She was born July 18, 1947, in Jefferson County to Lee Byrd and Maggie Black Byrd. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Somerville. Ms. Foote was preceded in death by a daughter, Tracie L. Jeffers. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
Survivors include one daughter, Deborah Hill and husband Leland, of Somerville; one brother, Roy Byrd, of Danville;
three grandchildren and
two great-Grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, 2 p.m. at Ridout’s Brown Service Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Charles Owens and Alan Stover will be officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
