Funeral services for Mary Elizabeth Smith, age 91 of Flintville, will be conducted Thursday September 17, 2015 at 1 P.M. at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Langford and Rev. Josh Moran officiating. Burial will follow in Flintville Cemetery beside her husband Melvin Winfield Smith. Mrs. Smith passed away Tuesday September 15, 2015 at Fayetteville Care and Rehab.
She was a native of Lincoln County and the daughter of the late James Raymond and Lydia Counts Snow. Mrs. Smith was a former employee of Serbin Fashions and a member of the Flintville First Baptist Church.
Survivors include special daughters, Linda Kay (Edward) Bledsoe, Kathy (Wayne) Ward, special grandchildren Brian Bledsoe, Jessie Mercier, Brad (Tara) Bledsoe, Jennifer Morris Smith, Josh Morris, great-grandchildren and cousins. She was preceded in death by a sister Jewel Snow.
Visitation with the family will be Thursday September 17, 2015 from 11-1 PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
