Catherine “Cat” Smith McBride, departed this life Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Maury County, Tennessee on November 28, 1930 to Sam Hugh Smith and Louise Holt Smith. On October 27, 1957 she married Frank McBride of Columbia to whom she was married for 58 years and also worked with her husband in the evenings and weekends at his grocery store on South Main Street for many years.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be announced by Williams Funeral Home in Columbia on Thursday, September 3, 2015.
