Jimmy Leon Roberson, age 63, of Columbia, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.

Jimmy was born on May 6, 1952, in Marshall County, Tennessee to the late Horace and Alice Irene Pratt Roberson. Jimmy was a resident and employee of Impact Centers for over ten years. He was well liked by his family at Impact Centers. He loved to do paperwork and draw all the time. He loved pencils and other office supplies. Country music videos played continuously on his TV in his room. He was hardly ever seen around the house or at work without one of his trademark hats on.

Jimmy is survived by his friends who are his family at the Impact Centers of Columbia, especially his roommate Michael. He was preceded in death by his parents: Horace and Alice Irene Pratt Roberson; and his sister: Mary Pratt.

Funeral services for Jimmy will be held in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home on Friday, September 4, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Gerald Yerkes officiating. Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens. Friends and family will visit together prior to the service beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Stan Keeton, David Vincent, Larry Cannon and Wayne Reese will serve as pallbearers.
