Lee Arthur Knight, 82, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at Courtyards Community Living Center. He was born February 11, 1933 to the late Abraham Lincoln Knight and the late Effie Greene Knight. He worked for various companies in Itawamba County. He was a Baptist in belief.
Survivors include his devoted wife, Velma Rogers Knight of Fulton, Sisters: Berniece Nail of Oklahoma City, OK, Leola Cowart of Meridian, and Betty (Gene) Hale of Fulton; Grandsons: Joey (Misty) Gassaway, Timmy (Sara) Gassaway, and James Buchanan all of Belmont; Granddaughters: Rebecca Jones of Belmont, and Tiffany (Jon) Rutledge of Iuka; Daughter-in-law, Wanda (Wallace) Buchanan of Belmont, Great-granddaughters: Dakota, Aleah, Maddison, Jasmine, Chloe Gassaway, Abigail Jones, and Rachael Rutledge; and his special caregivers was the Courtyards staff.
Preceded in death by his parents, Son, Jackie Lee Gassaway, 2 Sisters, and 2 Brothers.
