Nell Bennett Shotts, 95, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born September 12, 1919 to the late Calloway Bennett and the late Roxie Evans Bennett in Smithville. She was the oldest member of New Salem Methodist Church. She enjoyed dancing, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her five Sons, Ronnie (Martha) Shotts of Bath Springs, TN, Larry (Carolyn) Shotts of Hatley, Keith (Beth) Shotts of Fulton, Bill (Karen) Shotts of Fulton, Steve (Phyllis) Shotts of Weatherford, TX, 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, Several Nieces and Nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Shotts, Grandson, Justin Shotts, her parents, five Brothers, Trennon Bennett, Trannie Bennett, R.C. Bennett, Luther Bennett, Paul Bennett, Sister, Syble Bennett.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Shotts, Larry Shotts, Keith Shotts, Bill Shotts, Steve Shotts, Ken Shotts, Todd Shotts.
