Five Arresterd In Morgan County…Various Drug Charges

MORGAN COUNTY-Over the last several days the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department has been busy.  Here is a statement from the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office regarding a few arrests made since Monday, July 13:

“The Morgan County Deputies responded on Monday, July 13, 2015 to the Hartselle Shell Service Station near Interstate 65 in response to a suspicious person possibly using drugs in the public restroom. Deputies responded and made contact with (w/m 48) Chad Eric Burgreen. During investigation Deputies located approximately 1 1/2 grams of Methamphetamine “ICE” and Drug Paraphernalia items in vehicle belonging to Chad Burgreen. Morgan County Drug Task Force Agents arrived on scene and arrested Chad Eric Burgreen for the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine and for the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond set at $2,800.00.

As well on Monday evening, July 13, 2015 Deputies on patrol were alerted to what they believed to be a unattended fire on Old Trinity Rd. Deputies arrived at residence 99 Old Trinity Rd. Decatur, Al. and saw an unattended fire burning behind residence. Deputies made contact with the occupants of trailer and where alerted by a strong chemical odor that they thought to be associated with Manufacturing Methamphetamine. Deputies made contact with James McCormack (w/m 44), Victoria Pace (w/f 43) and Dora Flake (w/f 38). Morgan County Drug Task Force Agents arrived on scene and obtained a search warrant. Agents located in burn pile materials such as coffee filters containing pill binder, salt and equipment utilized in the Manufacturing of Methamphetamine. Agents located in the residence an empty box of cold medicine containing Pseudo ephedrine, numerous syringes, smoking devices, along with plastic baggies containing Methamphetamine residue. All 3 subjects were arrested and charged with Unlawful Attempt to Commit a Controlled Substance Crime and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond set at: $2,800.00 each. Both subjects James McCormack and Victoria Pace were currently out on bond for a previous Unlawful Manufacturing 1st Degree charge from 1 year ago.

Morgan County Drug Task Force Agents on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 with the assistance of the US Marshall’s- Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Madison – Morgan Strategic Counter Drug Team executed an arrest warrant on wanted person: Timothy Nikita Ikner (b/m 27). Timothy Ikner was located in apartment complex in the 2900 block of Wimberly Dr. in Decatur, Al. Agents, with the Morgan County Drug Task Force had been in the past several months purchasing Marijuana from Timothy Ikner. Agents learned that Timothy Ikner had 5 outstanding Felony warrants also in Baldwin Co. Timothy Ikner was arrested on 3 Felony Distribution Warrants for Morgan County Sheriff’s Office and transported to the Morgan County Jail. Bond set at: $15,000.00. Subject is awaiting extradition from Baldwin County.”
