Shelia Givens, 57, of Florence, passed away, June 4, 2015 at her residence.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 6,, 2015 from 12:30 – 2 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Givens was preceded in death by her parents, Cleatus Woods, Buddy and Lorene Thigpen; infant sister, Teresa Gilchrist.
She is survived by her loving and caring husband, Dennis Givens; son, Eric Balentine (Jennifer); granddaughters, Jesse and Lindsay Balentine; brother, Wade Thigpen (Sue); father and mother-in-law, Bob and Norma Givens; brothers-in-law, Stan and Todd Givens; sister-in-law, Lisa Givens; many aunts, uncles, and extended family.
Pallbearers will be life-long friends of the family, Lance Uhlman, Carter Reed, Jeff Moore, Mitch Clemmons, Steven Balentine, and Tony Quillen .
