Dorothy Jean Davis age 69 of Athens, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Davis was born June 14, 1945 in Limestone County, AL to Will Crouch and Bessie Jane Nixon Crouch.
Graveside services will be Saturday, June 6, 2015 12:00 p.m., at Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home.
Mrs. Davis was a member of Coxey Church of Christ.
Preceded in death by her parents, Will and Bessie Crouch; husband, Thomas Wayne Davis; two grandchildren, Cindy Jean White and Stephanie Gail Power.
Survived by five daughters, Denise Smith, Sabrina Terry, Debbie Brown, Beverly Slaton and Lisa Davis; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Willie Mae Freeman, Marie Bloodworth and Mary Goode; three brothers, Kenneth Crouch, Jamie Crouch and Willie Crouch; several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Keith Siniard, Chad Lovell, Matthew Jarrett, David Freeman, Tony Moss and Austin Terry.
