Geneva Cleveland Thomas – Obituary

Geneva Cleveland Thomas, 89, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at The Meadows in Fulton, where she was a resident for 10 years. She was born April 8, 1926 to the late Andrew Cleveland and the late Birdie Rouse Cleveland in Itawamba County . She was a member of Salem Baptist Church. She loved the Lord and enjoyed seeing people give their life to Christ. When she was older and could not do as much for the Lord, she had approximately 30 of “The Ten Commandments” and ” The Lords Prayer” displays placed in churches in and around the counties. She enjoyed sewing, especially making quilts and she loved her family dearly.

Survivors include her Daughter, Rachel (Alfred Jones) Williamson of Golden, two Sons, Rabern Thomas of Golden, Ronnie (Christy) Thomas of Fulton, Grandchildren, Stan (Anita) Williamson of Golden, Tammy (Jeff) Cooley of Mooreville, Shelia (Roger) Wooten of Belmont, Vickki (Chris) Stanphil of Tremont, Konny (Jerry) Lindsey of Belmont, Lauren (Garrig) Shields of Madison, Britney (Nathan) Martin of Golden, Austin Thomas of Fulton, great grandchildren, Stacey Steele, Magan (Nathan) Bostick, Isaac Wooten, Jeff (Leah) Holt, Thomas (Maegan) Stanphill, Marina Stanphill, Adrianna Lindsey, Bailee Lindsey,Brandon (Britni) Williamson, Bryan (Viviana) Williamson, Holly (Jeremy) Leach, Blake (Holly) Palmer, 14 Great Great Grandchildren, Half Brother, Harold (Becky) Cleveland of Fairview.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bert Thomas, her parents, Grandson, Scotty Williamson, 5 sisters, and 3 brothers.

Pallbearers are Stan Williamson, Austin Thomas, Isaac Wooten, Jeff Holt, Brandon Williamson, Bryan Williamson, Blake Palmer.
