Martina Elizabeth Varner, age 90, of Florence, died Saturday, May 9, 2015.
Visitation will be Tuesday, 1:30-2:30 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia.
Her graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. in Oakwood Cemetery, Tuscumbia with Father Jacob Amos and Crissa Letson officiating.
Mrs. Varner was a member of Our Lady of the Shoals Catholic Church and was preceded in death by her parents, Frank James Malone Jr., and Marie Elizabeth Malone, her husband, M. J. Varner, son Eddie Reid and brothers; Frank Malone, Edward Malone, Joe Malone and John David Malone.
She is survived by her daughter, Martina (Tina) German and husband Wayne of Florence, AL; sister, Aurelia M. Lee of Tuscumbia; granddaughter, Michelle Isbell; great-granddaughter, Brandi Isbell (Andrew); one great great-grandson, Tylen; and step son, Keith Varner.
Pallbearers are Andrew Romero, Bobby Holley, Steve Letson, Billy Richardson, Bud Varner and Eddie August.
