Funeral service for Hollis H. Alexander, 79, will be Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Mark Nelson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery in Eva, Alabama. Visitation will be Friday, April 24, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mr. Alexander died on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at his residence with his family at his side. He was born Friday,August 2, 1935, in Morgan County to Samuel Clarence Alexander and Pearlie Mae Tomlin Alexander. Hollis worked as a machinst for 43 years, retiring from General Motors. He also was a farmer, raising cotton and hogs. He and his wife Betty were married for 56 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters: Lovie Roberts and Clarene Brown, and three brothers: Euel, Clarence Cleo and Charlie Alexander

his Wife, Betty Linda Alexander

One Son:
Timmy Alexander and wife, Kristi Alexander

Two Daughters:
Angela Alexander Hill and husband Phillip Hill and
Terri Alexander Tapscott and husband Myron Tapscott

6 Grandchildren

6 Great Grandchildren
Pallbearers will be Grandsons: Justin Tapscott, Coty Tapscott, Nick Hill, Levi Tapscott, Roman Maxwell, and Scott Howell.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Great Grandsons: Tanner Wilkinson, Phillip Howell, Eli Howell, Layne Tapscott, and Corrin Maxwell ,
