WHY not do this with the dead beat Moms who were ordered to pay child support but find one excuse after another to keep from doing so, AND keep getting breaks from the system. All of them are sorry excuses for parents and all owe their children this money. What they all need to understand is that it is NOT alimony, it is CHILD SUPPORT. A means to help to feed and clothe the child you either helped make,or birthed. Men or Women—they ALL deserve the same treatment!
I totally agree with paying child support. In my personal experience, and I know, many others, what do you do when you pay it and the mother spends it on her nails, hair, jewelry, and men?
There is no accountability standard that I know of Sheila, but I think most use it for what it was meant for, when they get it. I was lucky enough myself, to be able to put what little child support I received into a savings for my children. I had a good job that more than provided for us, BUT those days of high salary are gone for a lot of is. That being said, the non custodial parent still should support their child in the manner the court ordered.
