Lorene Laird departed this life on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at the age of 89 years, 9 months, 4 days. She was born in Lauderdale County, Alabama, on July 17, 1925, the daughter of the late Marion Francis and Elida Stricklin Young.
Lorene is survived by her children, Ray Laird and Mary Cummings; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Wilson Laird; son, Donnie Woodrow Laird; 2 grandchildren, Bobby Wilson Cummings and Mark Bradley Cummings.
