Funeral for Violene Wallace Mizell of Trinity will be Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at noon at Caddo Congregational Christian Church with the Reverend Doug Moody officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Mizell, who died Sunday, April 19, 2015, was born September 18, 1930, to Veto and Lula Mae Wallace. She was a member of Caddo Congregational Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bonard Mizell; parents; and two brothers, Wendell Wallace and Veto Wallace Jr.
Survivors include her children, Noel Mizell(Dee Dee) of Collierville, TN, Julia Dunlap (Wiley), Mark Mizell (Liz), Kathy Brown (Norman), all of Trinity; brother, Burl Wallace of Trinity; sisters, Betty Tenhover of Cincinnati, OH, Vivian (Oscar) Kent of Decatur and Naomi (Marvin)Terry of Trinity. She had eight grandchildren, Adam Dunlap (Andrea) of Madison, Kara Collins (Chris) of Wildwood, MO, Melinda Wallace (Steve) of Trinity, Mark Mizell Jr. (Suzanne) of Hartselle, Kishia Locke (Daniel) of Trussville, Emma Magee Mizell of Trinity, Garrett Mizell of Collierville, TN, Will Brown of Tuscaloosa; and seven great-grandchildren.
Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
