Doyce Mason age 69 of Athens, passed away Monday, March 30, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Mason was born December 17, 1945 in Lauderdale County, AL to A.E. Mason and Vera Walker Mason.
Services will be Tuesday, March 31, 2015 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Dennis Ivy officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Preceded in death by his parents, A.E. and Vera Mason; twin brother, Boyce Mason.
Survived by his wife, Brenda Mason; three daughters, Brandi Meloon and husband, J R, Melissa Brown and fiancé, Steve and Lori Steelman and fiancé, Larry; nine grandchildren, Chelsea Love, Madison Wilson, Lacey Steelman, Landon Mason, Brennon Hudson, Tanner Meloon, Greg Brown, Brandi Brown and Lindsey Flowers; four sisters, Jane Hartselle, Faye Nolen, Reba Hagood and husband, Billy and Ouida Conn.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Hartselle, Steve Howard, Nick Wilson, Jack Russell, Brian Romine and Charles Pettie. Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Russell and Greg Russell.
