Helen Louise Hill age 95 of Ardmore, passed away Friday, March 27, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Hill was born December 29, 1919 in Davidson County, TN to Carl Merten Wilkes and Gillie Louise Drake Wilkes.
Services will be Wednesday, April 1, 2015 11:00 a.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Rex Fitzpatrick officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be Thursday, April 2, 2015 11:00 a.m., in Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Nashville, TN.
Mrs. Hill was a member of Main Street Church of Christ in Ardmore, TN and was a retired Civil Service Employee.
Preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Gillie Wilkes; husband, George Reynolds Hill; two sons, Carl R. Hill and Gilbert W. Hill; three sisters, Annie Mae Carter, Margaret W. Jones and Alice L. Rogers; nephew, Lucian Carter; daughter-in-law, Debbie Hill.
Survived by one son, Lawrence “Larry” Hill and wife, Valarie of Ardmore, TN; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Hill, Matthew Hill, Ashley Hall, Jeff Durham, Dennis Scott and Carlos Galarza.
