William L. “Bill” Rowe, age 70, of Haleyville, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015. He was the owner of Rowe Machinery, Inc. and was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church, Haleyville, Alabama, NRA lifetime member, ASPCA lifetime member, and Alabama Trucking Association.
Visitation is Friday, March 13, 2015, from 6-8 p.m. at New Prospect Baptist Church, Haleyville, Alabama. The service is Saturday, March 14, 2015, at 1 p.m. with Dr. Ron Horton officiating. The body will lie in state from noon-1 p.m. at the church, with burial in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Josh Richie, Matt Fuller, Trey Rowe, Tyler Rowe, Grant Kinard, Mike Alexander, Odell West, Ray Lay, Clinton League, Gary Kay, and Josh West. Honorary paullbearers will be Rowe Marchinery drivers.
He is survived by his children, Lynn (Carolyn) Rowe, Tommie (Angie) Rowe, Tammie (Johnny) Batchelor, and Genia Rowe McReynolds; brothers, Gary (Rose) Rowe and Gene (Cynthia) Rowe; grandchildren, Tiffany (Grant) Kinard, Matthew (Courtney) Fuller, Trey (Erica) Rowe, Josh Richie, Tyler Rowe, and Emily McReynolds; great-grandchildren, Brileigh Brannon, Jaxon Brannon, and Kamden Fuller; and special niece, Teresa (Alex) Ergle.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Eleanor Rowe, sister, Mary Helen Bailey, and wife, Maxine Tidwell Rowe.
