Funeral services for Mrs. Wanda Ayers, age 75, are scheduled for 4 PM on Sunday February 15, 2015 in the Chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Independence Cemetery. Mrs. Wanda passed away on Friday February 13, 2015 in Jackson, TN. Born August 31, 1939 in Henderson County, TN to the late Clarence and Laura Taylor Alexander, Mrs. Wanda was a member of Independence Church of Christ, and a retired cook for Henderson County Sheriff’s Department. Mrs. Wanda was preceded in death by 10 brothers, and 5 sisters. Survivors include her husband, of 55 years Mr. Bobby Ayers, three daughters; Teresa Ayers, Lisa (Dwight) Scott, and Christy (Jim) Evans, and four grandchildren.

met her and her husband only once on a trip to visit my sister. Nicest people you’d ever want to meet. Brought me into their home acted like they’d known me for years. You don’t get nicer people than these. Sorry to hear of her passing.All the sadness here, God is smiling ’cause he got a good angel outa this. Mike young
