Jean (Irene Genevieve) Stottle died peacefully at her home on Sunday morning. She was born in Kansas City, MO and was a resident of Huntsville since 1960. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Huntsville. Jean retired at 65 from Thermal Corporation after supporting the family business. She then began her life as an artist for 20 years. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Christina L. Page.
She is survived by her husband, Robert D. Stottle, Sr.; son, Robert D. Stottle, Jr; daughter, Jennifer S. Taylor (Jerry); grandchildren, Samantha Stottle, Shelby Cagle, Jonathon Cagle, Jean Marie Geohagan (Kevin), and Will Page (Susan); step-grandchild, Jessica Taylor; great-grandchildren, Elijah Collum, Alexis Collum, Reid Geohagan, Emma Geohagan, Nora Geohagen and Rylan Page.
Visitation will be from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will immediately follow in the chapel with Dr. Darryl Goldman. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Presbyterian Home for Children, Talladega, AL.
