Jerushia Edith Dixon, age 80, of Sheffield, died on Tuesday January 20, 2015.
Mrs. Dixon is preceded in death by her sons, Michael Lynn Dixon and Edward Dewayne Dixon; her parents, Ivory and Ramona Hicks Salyer; and 2 brothers.
Mrs. Dixon is survived by her husband, Edward Leon Dixon; her children, Douglas Dixon and wife Mary Lou, David Dixon, and Mark Dixon; her brothers, Donald, Dolan, Gene, Sam, and Darius Salyer; her sisters, Mary Jessee and Joan Wolfe; 8 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be on Saturday January 24, 2015 at 10pm at Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville with Rob Peavy officiating. Burial will follow in Taylor Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday January 23rd from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home.
