Mahlon Edward Taylor age 63 of Athens, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Taylor was born May 15, 1951 in Limestone County, AL to George Taylor and Ollie Hutchens Taylor.
Services will be Friday, January 23, 2015 1:00 p.m., at Fairview Baptist Church with Bro. George Whitten officiating. Visitation will be Friday, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Fairview Church Cemetery.
Preceded in death by his parents, George and Ollie Taylor; two brothers, George Taylor and Joe Taylor.
Survived by his wife, Debi Taylor; two sons, Bradley Taylor and wife, Shanna and Chad Taylor; one grandson, Preston Taylor; one granddaughter, Zoe Taylor; three brothers, James Taylor, Billy Taylor and Frank Taylor; seven sisters, Jeanette Staton, Marie Dorning, Barbara Powers, Louise Hamker, Juanita Spicer, Lois Trickey and Sue Ann Fair.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Taylor, John Trickey, Adam Fair, Landon Taylor, Marcus Spicer and Marino Taylor.
