Frankie Mae Beckham Sims of Columbia, TN, formerly of Waynesboro, TN, was born May 10, 1922 in Wayne Co., TN, the daughter of the late Richard and Dee Hazel Murphy Beckham. She was united in marriage to Milburn King Sims on May 19, 1938 and he preceded her in death on November 2, 1993.
Mrs. Sims, a retired owner and operator of Sims Motor Lodge and Resturant in Waynesboro, TN, was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee and departed this life on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 92 Years, 8 Months, 1 Day.
She is survived by a daughter, Janice Cole of Columbia, TN; grandchildren, Ian and Rachel; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Hailey and Shawn; a sister, Billie Galloway of Columbia, TN.
At her request, her remains will be cremated and buried at Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, TN. A private family gathering will be held at the cemetery at a later date.
