Ms. Brenda Joyce Avery Peoples Davis, age 56, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Friday, January 9th, 2015, at Northwest Medical Center in Winfield, Alabama.
Visitation 4:00 – 5:00 p.m., Sunday, January 11th, 2015, at the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel in Hamilton, Alabama. Funeral service, 5:00 p.m., immediately following visitation, in the funeral home chapel. Burial in Cooper Cemetery, Marion County, Alabama.
Brenda was born December 10th, 1958, in Marion County, Alabama, to Bernice Nichols Avery and the late Nolan Avery.
She is survived by her husband, J.L. Davis; 2 daughters, Melinda Peoples Miller, and Layna Scott; 1 son, Joey Peoples; step-son, Jerrod Davis; grandchildren, Hayden & Brianna Ross, Chandler Peoples, Emmalyn & Allye Brooke Miller, A.J. Scott, Alyssa Green, Talon & Colton Scott; her mother, Bernice Avery; 1 sister, Sheila Avery; 1 brother, Michael “Mike” (Pam) Avery; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Nolan Avery; and 1 brother, Donnie Avery; and husband, husband, Ricky Joe Peoples.
