Alexander Moses Sloan, 85, of Florence, Alabama, passed away quietly with his family and friends at his home on Dec. 24, 2014. The memorial service will be on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015, at First Christian Church at 2 p.m. Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church.
