Freddy W. Waddle, 72, of Golden, Mississippi, died Monday, Jan. 5, 2015, at the Red Bay Hospital. He was born in Itawamba County, Mississippi and was a carpenter. He was of the Methodist faith and a member of Bay Springs Masonic Lodge.

Services will be Thursday, Jan. 8, at 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, Alabama, with Brother Douglas Kitchens and Ron Deaton officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery, Golden, Mississippi. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Alabama, will be in charge of arrangements.

Survivors are one daughter, Jennifer Deaton (Kevin) Belmont, Mississippi; one son, Wayne Waddle (Kamiya), Florence, Alabama; three grandchildren, Hanna Deaton and Dylan Deaton, both of Belmont, Mississippi, and Mackenzie Shinault, Florence, Alabama; brothers and sisters, Janie Trigg, Salt Lake City, Utah, Reba Flurry (Bill), Fulton, Mississippi, Frankie Crabb (Tommy), Baldwyn, Mississippi, and Danny Waddle, Marietta, Mississippi; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Waddle, parents, Marion Dean Waddle and Adelle Tesseneer Waddle, and brothers and sisters, Charles Waddle, Bob Waddle, Ricky Waddle, Bettye Johnson and Sue Ramey, and a great-niece, Cyndal Cleveland.

Pallbearers will be Robin Flurry, Ricky Johnson, Jason Johnson, Chris Ramey, Jeff Ramey, Stevie Waddle, Phillip Trigg, James Waddle, Jackie Waddle, and Larry Gordon Bishop.

Visitation will be today, 6-9 p.m., at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Alabama.
