Funeral service for Jerome (J) Cawley, 71, will be Sunday, December 28, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City, AL with Bro W.A. Smith officiating and Vance Memorial Chapel directing. Burial will be in Philadelphia Baptist Cemetery in Smiths, AL. Visitation will be Friday, December 26, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home and also, at Vance Memorial Chapel on Saturday, from 6:00PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, December 27, 2014.
Mr. Cawley died on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born August 3, 1943, in West Point, Georgia, to Angus Cawley and Dolores McDurmont Cawley. Mr. Cawley was a Baptist by faith and was a member of Cave Springs Baptist Church in Priceville. AL . He was a 1961 graduate of Smith Station High School in Smiths, AL and was an avid Alabama Football Fan. He was preceded in death by his parents.
