Joseph Gordon Robertson, 91, of Huntsville passed away Monday at his home. Mr. Robertson was a native of Maine and a retired machinist with NASA. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Huntsville Park Baptist Church for approximately 60 years. Survivors include his wife of 70 years: Hazel Shockley Robertson; two daughters: Rebecca (Billy) Eastep and Susan (Jack) Lang; one sister: Mona Goodwin; four grandchildren: Christopher (Joni) Campbell, Levi (Karen) Lang, Jodie (Marc) Sproul and Thad (My-Hanh) Eastep; five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other loving family members and friends. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to April, Pearline, Jesse and Brenda. A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday December 20, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Huntsville Park Baptist Church with Rev. Mylon Metcalf officiating. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family. Memorial donations may be made to Huntsville Park Baptist Church or to Gentiva Hospice.
