Funeral service for James Edward Nesmith, 76, will be Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Addison Church of God with Bro. Rodney Ridgeway and Rev. Delma Chappell officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Addison Church of God Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 10, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church.
Mr. Nesmith died on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born April 17,1938, in Jefferson County to Lee Odie Nesmith and Barbara Allon Ware Nesmith. He was a member of the Bible Holiness Fellowship in Massey Line, AL and served in the U.S. Marine Corps and the Alabama National Guard. Mr. Nesmith was retired from South Central Bell and from Copeland Corporation. He was preceded in death by his parents.
