Reba D. Shelton, 99, of Florence, passed away Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014, at Mitchell-Hollingsworth Nursing Home. She was a member of North Wood United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014, from noon-12:45 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 1 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Park with the Rev. Scott Coats officiating. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Shelton was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Shelton, parents, Lassie and Jeff Darby, brother, Robert Darby, sisters, Ruby Smith, Dot Forrest, and Julia George, sons-in-law, James H. Oldham and Coy Montgomery, and grandson, Sean Oldham.
She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Oldham, of Battle Creek, Michigan, and Jane Montgomery, of Florence; grandchildren, Mary Jane Oldham, of Battle Creek, Michigan, Jim and Jeff Oldham, both of Three Rivers, Michigan, Russell Oldham, of Tekonsha, Michigan, and Mary Montgomery-Smith, of Florence; five great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Our sincere thanks to the employees of Mitchell-Hollingsworth, especially section four, for the tender loving care they gave our mother and grandmother over the years; all of you are very special to us.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mission of Love at North Wood United Methodist Church or a charity of your choice .
