Alice McKleroy Roberts – Obituary

Mrs Alice McKleroy Roberts passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Decatur Morgan Hospital surrounded by her daughters.

She was the past President of the Burningtree Ladies Golf Association, a member of the Daughters of the Confederacy and a member of the Decatur Garden Club. She loved to play bridge with her lady friends and loved working in the yard, planting beautiful flowers.

She was born November 6, 1924, in Hot Springs, Arkansas to John Lewis Glass and Hazel Hester Sims Glass. She later married Troy Edward McKleroy who preceded her. He was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army. They were married for 45 years. She was a member of Hartselle United Methodist Church.
Survivors include :
her Husband, Benjamin F. Roberts

Two Daughters:
Sydney M. Tucker, Decatur, AL and
Ann Worley, Hartselle, AL

Three Step-children

3 Grandchildren

8 Great Grandchildren

Family will gather at Peck Funeral Home and will have a Graveside Service and Burial for family and friends will be held at Burningtree Memorial Gardens at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 with Bro. Harold Thompson presiding.

Pallbearers will be Grandsons and Friends
