Funeral services for Jack McAdams, age 87, are scheduled for 2 PM, Saturday, November 8, 2014 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Henderson County Memory Gardens. Mr. McAdams passed away late Wednesday in Lexington. He was born May 6, 1927 in Chester County to the late Walter and Margie Bailey McAdams. He was a WWII U. S. Army Veteran, a long time farmer, and retired after over 20 years with the Henderson County Highway Dept. He was involved in Ministry for over 40 and enjoyed coon hunting and making music, he could play any stringed instrument. Mr. McAdams is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mrs. Dorothy McAdams of Lexington; three sons, Jackie McAdams and Ricky (Paula) McAdams of Lexington, and Sam (Penny) McAdams of Reagan; four daughters, Brenda (Terry) Melton, Patsy “Pat” Renshaw, Alma (Mark) Slaughter, and Donna McAdams all of Lexington; two sisters, Betty Dunivan of Lexington and Loy Jones of Jacks Creek; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
