Services of Bernard Mazelin, age 88 of Moore County, will be conducted Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at the Moore County Mennonite Brotherhood Church with Bro Raymond Sommers officiating. Burial will follow in the Moore County Mennonite Cemetery. Mr. Mazelin passed away Saturday at his residence.
He was a native of Berne, IN and the son of Jacob and Lena Habettar Mazelin, and was a farmer and carpenter.
Survivors include children Eileen Yannayon of Lamar, MO, Harvey (Mary) Mazelin of Cincinnati, IA, Rosalyn, Robert, Herman and Julia Mazelin all of the home. 13 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wife Lina, an infant daughter Martha, granddaughter Susan Yannayon and sister Dorothy.
Visitation with the family will be Wednesday 1-3 p.m. and 6-9 p.m at Moore County Mennonite Church.
